Bothered me...

Bothered me…

Yesterday afternoon after hubby and I went out to eat dinner I checked the Philippine Star news online. Two breaking news my eyes caught up, it says 2 bombs exploded in Iligan City and an ambushed were being held and several soldiers died. I was alarmed by it but I just didn’t take it seriously.

Then this morning I was not yet fully awake when my neice buzz me and told me that the MILF attacked several towns in Lanao del Norte. I was shocked because I didn’t expected that to happened and when I heard it I feel it is a déjà vu feeling.

Right now I am glued to the ABS-CBN news. The president GMA declared an all out war but in war the citizens are the losers. But on the other hand I also t don’t like the idea that the citizens will just be killed by this dammit rebels. So therefore it is better to let the citizens have their own guns too to protect themselves for (who knows) another attack.

Dear Kim, that kind of stuff bothers me too. I don't know what this world is coming to. Its just a very violent world we live in now and its scary that these peole have deadly weapons. Its the same here in the USA, no one is really safe from rebels coming into our country and wreaking havoc. Some people here are so liberal and so afraid to offend others that the US security is not as intact as it should be. My Dad is in the PI right now but not in that area. I'm sure he will tell me about it when I talk to him again. He will be coming home to the US in the next few weeks. Take care and the best we can do is pray for world peace..

Hi Kim, yes, it's bothersome. If only, GMA did not give so much false hope to them, and have studied more the effects of the MOA, we could've at least prevented this trajedy.

Hi kay, your right there we are living in a very violent world now. BEfore we thought that a country like US is a safe place but heck no...aside from the terrorist who likes to bring terror to our community or society, there are also people who are pedophiles and etc who makes the parents get paranoid just thinking about it. Thanksfully, my family are all fine and well. And right we should always pray for everybodies safety and all. You take care too Kay and regards to the family as well.

Hi Tess, yup of all the President that I've know off GMA is the one who made this kind of arrangement. I didn't understand her gosh!!Pissed me off just thinking about it. I just wished she experienced what those innocent civilian experienced siguro samot gyud iyang ngipon mogawas chucks!!:P
