What transpired my weekend

Friday……….

At around 7:30 pm me and hubby already in front of the tv glued to watched the opening ceremony of the 2008 Summer Olympics. It was the most spectacular Olympic opening that I have ever witnessed in my entire life and so my hubby. The choreograph dances, the fireworks whom some critics said that some are fake (who cares??), the harmony of colors are so vivid you enjoyed watching it, and the theme of this Olympics carries a lot of meaning and there is a hope for it “ONE WORLD ONE DREAM”. I remember my father told us that if all Chinese will pee on us we will be flooded. It was some kind of joke and we laugh about it but knowing that their population reaches to 1Billion 389 Million ++++ people living in this world I had a second thought my father might be true. I just hope that they won’t pee on my hometown in Pinas we will surely be flooded.

Saturday.....

I woke up early and went immediately to my garden. I picked up fresh vegies and cooked it immediately since by 10:30am I had to be in the Park for the Filipino picnic party this year. But, unfortunately  I was not able to come to that picnic party. So I just keep the  food that I cooked inside the ref and then later that day me and hubby went to Sams Club to shopped. We found this cute 5cubic ft freezer which is just good for us two, I like it the first time I set my eyes on that  GE freezer. I was thinking of preserving my vegies in the freezer for winter and so hubby bought it for me yahoo!!

Sunday.....

I woke up at 10:30 am!! I slept so good! Hubby woke me up and prepare for me a pancake breakfast. How sweet of him huh? Anyhow, since it was already too late we missed our sunday mass. At 2:00pm we were at Lady of the Lake catholic church to witnessed the baptism of our friends daughter Ashely Nicole and I was one of the ninangs. After the ceremony, we went to Lanies house for the reception and lechon was already there. Yum yum for that. Food was overflowing and so chats to some of the friends that I haven't seen are so exciting. Hubby and I came home around 9pm and soon we retire to our comfortable bed hugging and kissing hehe. The rest is !!

8 Hugs.
